JAKARTA - Jauh sebelum usulan dana rumah aspirasi mencuat, sudah banyak anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) mendirikan rumah aspirasi atas inisiatif sendiri dan menggunakan dana pribadi. Seperti yang sudah dilakukan anggota dewan dari Fraksi Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (FPKS) Mahfudz Siddiq sejak menjadi anggota dewan.
"Gagasan rumah aspirasi bagus saja. Bahkan sebagian anggota sudah melakukan itu atas inisiatif sendiri," ujar anggota Komisi I itu kepada okezone melalui pesan singkatnya, Selasa (3/8/2010).
Yang menjadi persoalan, kata dia, baik dari Pimpinan DPR atau Badan Urusan Rumah Tangga (BURT) belum menjelaskan konsep rumah aspirasi tersebut kepada seluruh anggota dewan.
"Jangan sampai habis dibangun rumah aspirasinya kosong melompong," tambahnya.
"Matangkan dulu konsepnya. Kalau dipastikan fungsional saya setuju," imbuhnya.
Mantan Ketua FPKS ini menambahkan selama ini memang tidak ada anggaran untuk rumah aspirasi.
"Yang ada dana reses, untuk transportasi, akomodasi dan biaya kegiatan selama 9 hari. Besaran dana kegiatan sekira Rp31,5 juta. Biasanya biaya yang dikeluarkan lebih banyak karena Kunker Dapil jadi sarana masyarakat untuk minta bantuan dana ke caleg yang bersangkutan," paparnya.
