The House of Representatives inquiry committee on the Bank Century bailout will prepare three options to be voted in Tuesday's plenary session.

"The three options are first, there was no violation in both the bailout policy and its implementation, second, the policy was the right one but there were violations in the implementation, and lastly, both the policy and implementation had many violations,"committee deputy Mahfudz Siddiq from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), told reporters at the House in Jakarta on Monday.

Mahfudz said that his party would maintain its stance in considering both the policy and the implementation were flawed.

Separately, Golkar Party executive Priyo Budi Santoso said that his party would like to have voting at the plenary session.

"So the people can see which parties are consistent," he said.

A source from within the committee, insisting on remaining anonymous, said that the political mapping still put the bloc in favor of the third option as the front runner.

"Two parties support the first option, one party supports the compromised second option, while the remaining six are in favor of the third," the source said.

The bailout is considered controversial as it ballooned 10 times to Rp 6.76 trillion (US$716 million) from its original estimation. It was authorized in November 2008 by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati and the then Bank Indonesia governor, Boediono, who is now Vice President.
